Acknowledging you might be experiencing domestic violence and abuse isn’t an easy process. It can be hard to accept you need help and support at all.
Your partner might have told you you’re completely on your own and that no-one will believe that the abuse is taking place.
That’s not true.
You’re not alone and we’re here for you.
Helpline
Our helpful staff will listen to you and be able to point you in the right direction: whether fleeing domestic abuse is the most appropriate course of action or whether you can be supported in the community with outreach services.
Calling the helpline or reaching out with an email is a hugely important step and we understand that every situation is unique. Our helpline staff will be understanding and give you advice on safety planning, point you to benefits advice and other resources.
