Donate
Our work would not be possible without donations from the public and businesses, alongside our mainstream funding. However big or small the amount, you can be sure that it will make a difference to us and the work we do.
Our impact
During the financial year 2023-2024, we supported 2151 adults and 218 children. 98.5% of respondents felt safer or remained feeling safe.
96% of respondents felt better able to recognise abusive behaviour.
With your help, we can continue to provide refuge, community based and groupwork support to adults and children impacted by domestic abuse in Manchester and beyond.
Payroll giving
If your employer, company or personal pension provider runs a Payroll Giving scheme, you can donate straight from your wages or pension. This happens before tax is deducted from your income. Your donation can be changed at any time, simply let your payroll team know.
The tax relief you get depends on the rate of tax you pay. To donate £1, you pay:
80p if you’re a basic rate taxpayer
60p if you’re a higher rate taxpayer
55p if you’re an additional rate taxpayer
You can find out more about Payroll Giving here: Payroll Giving - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
You can donate a one-off gift or give regularly.

Legacy donations
Legacy giving allows you to donate to charities through your will. It's a way to make a lasting impact on causes you care about, potentially with a larger sum than you could during your lifetime. You can specify a fixed amount, a specific asset, or a percentage of your remaining estate.
In-kind donations
UPDATE
Please note we are at full capacity for clothes at the moment. However, we are currently in need of maternity clothes.
We receive many enquiries from the public wishing to donate items to families in our refuges and the community. The most common items which are donated include clothes, toiletries, cosmetics and toys.
If you have items which you would like to donate or would like some ideas of what to donate, then drop us an email on fundraising@pankhursttrust.org. We will then be able to arrange for you to drop off your donation.
