CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS
In 2025, there were 71,818 reports of domestic violence across Greater Manchester.
Behind every one of those reports is a person in our community who needed help, and that's exactly why the work we do at Manchester Women's Aid matters so much.
Over recent years, violence against women and girls has continued to rise, making the need for dedicated, specialist support more urgent than ever. We work with women and families both in refuge and in the community, and the results are life-changing, but, we can't do it alone.
That's where businesses like yours come in. Corporate partnerships are a vital part of how we sustain and grow our services, meaning that when your organisation chooses to support Manchester Women's Aid, you're not just fundraising, you're helping us show up for the women and families who need us most.
Ways We Can Work Together:
Corporate Donation
By offering a monetary or in-kind contribution to our work, you can make a direct impact on those affected by domestic abuse.
Many of the people we support arrive with nothing, having fled violence at a moment's notice and so they begin rebuilding their lives from very little. Donations of furniture, appliances, soft furnishings and homewares can make an enormous difference as they take those first steps toward a new beginning.
A monetary donation allows us to direct funds exactly where they are needed most. Whether that means supporting our wellbeing programme helping women reconnect with their community through gym memberships, or funding trips that give families the chance to create happy memories outside of refuge every contribution matters.
At £40 per day to run a refuge flat, a donation of £5,000 would cover more than four months of safe accommodation for someone escaping domestic abuse, giving them the time and stability to rebuild their life.
Charity of the Year
Selecting your Charity Partner of the Year? Manchester Women's Aid offers a partnership with genuine purpose. Working with us means uniting your teams through meaningful, values-led activities, collaborating in ways that fit around your organisation, where you can also see your impact come to life in our community-based drop-ins. You will be standing alongside survivors, investing in your local community, and helping us build safer futures across Manchester, all while fulfilling your commitments and putting your support where it is needed most.
Funding an activity and meal at one of our community drop-ins not only gives you the chance to be part of the fun, but to experience first-hand the positive energy and sense of belonging that our hub brings to women across Manchester.
Collaborative Partnerships
We know how much this city means to the businesses and organisations that call Manchester home, and how deeply we are all touched by the social issues facing our community. We are actively growing our presence across Manchester through awareness-raising and fundraising campaigns shining a light on domestic abuse and, more broadly, Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). It is an exciting time to come on board, as we are keen to collaborate with organisations that have bold ideas, big ambitions, or simply want to explore how they can get involved.
From brewing beers and creating special dishes to producing charity films, we want to amplify our voice so we can reach everyone affected by domestic abuse.
For International Women's Day 2026, we were proud to partner with the wonderful Bríd's Cross Brewery and Crafty Beer Girls, who created a special brew to raise awareness of our work. Hosting a brewing day and pub crawl across the brilliant local businesses stocking their one-of-a-kind creation.
Corporate Volunteering Opportunities
Is your team looking for volunteering opportunities? Manchester Women's Aid has plenty to offer. We are happy to work with you to find the best fit for your organisation, whether that means spending a day transforming a space in one of our refuges, participating in our popular weekly drop-ins, or offering your professional expertise to advise those affected by domestic abuse. Whatever your skills or capacity, there is a way for your team to make a meaningful contribution.

Payroll Giving
We know how quickly the months fly by, which is why Payroll Giving is such an easy, low-effort way for your team to support Manchester Women's Aid all year round. It's a simple way to demonstrate your organisation's commitment to the community, and to make a steady, meaningful difference to the survivors who rely on our services. With no cost to your organisation and a genuine impact on the people we support, it is one of the easiest ways to help build safer futures across Manchester.
Training Partnerships
Manchester Women's Aid offers specialist training programmes for corporates and the VCFSE sector, designed to deepen understanding of domestic abuse and its impact. From awareness sessions to more in-depth courses, we can work with your organisation to find the right fit, whether that's training for a whole team or supporting individual members of staff. Head to our training section to explore our courses, pricing and how to get in touch.
A quote from one of our past training attendees: “Really well presented and structured. I liked the mixture of interactive activities with the case studies. Information was presented in a digestible way, I found it easy to follow and take notes. Really engaging and fascinating stuff.”

Your Vision, Our Partnership
We're at the beginning of many exciting conversations and honestly, that's the exciting bit!! We'd love to shape something that really feels like you, your business, your values, your ideas. So, we're open to our corporate partners bringing their own creative spark to the table and helping shape what fundraising looks like for us both. The only thing we'd ask is that it sits comfortably within our mission, as a charity, meaningful impact has to be at the heart of everything we do. But within that? There's loads of room to build something genuinely brilliant together!
