Big Give: 365 Nights of Safety
We have once again been selected for the Big Give's Women and Girls Match Fund, going live October 6th - October 13th 2026.
ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN
SLEEP SAFELY. DREAM OF A NEW BEGINNING.
Our 365 Nights of Safety campaign aims to ensure women and children fleeing abuse can access emergency accommodation, practical support and specialist services when they need them most.
Every night, survivors across Manchester need somewhere safe to turn.
By funding one refuge bedspace for a full year, we can give up to three women and their children a safe place to call home. When someone needs to escape danger, we can offer a space for a new beginning, where they are safe, supported and connected with others as they recover from high-risk, high-harm domestic abuse."

By midday on 13th October, we have to have raised £5,110 to receive our match-funding!

Every night of the year, our refuge space provides a lifeline for many survivors, something highlighted in our 365 Nights of Safety video.
Based on the experiences of service users and the specialist staff who support them, it highlights how refuge is a lifeline for survivors: a place to flee abuse, access specialist support and dream of a new beginning.

Ava's story follows her journey from leaving her abusive relationship, through justice and immigration processes, to her life of freedom now.
